The Client:
The Youth section of the Upper Hutt City Council
The Requirement:
The original UHYouth site had
been designed by students at a local technical college, but it has been
constructed in such a way that maintenance was very difficult.
The client wanted a site that would appeal to teenagers, but which would
be easy for them to maintain.
The Solution:
We built a mixed site of static & dynamic elements using Macromedia
Dreamweaver MX, and then converted part of the site to work with
Macromedia Contribute. When new pages are needed the client has the
choice to create a completely new page from a template, or use the database
to store an article which is loaded from a webform.
