The Client:
TurtleBay was the name of a New Zaaland company who sold and supported Microsoft
Great Plains Financial Systems. They had offices in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
The Requirement:
The client wished to create
a registration system for the various seminars and user
activities that were run
over the course of the year. The system had to be added
to their existing website.
The Solution:
We took a Cold Fusion registration engine that had been built for another site and
completely rewrote it in ASP.Net1.1 using Visual Studio.
The public part of the site consists of a simple listing displaying
course information and a booking form.
The client has a full set of Administration
pages for editing the text on the site, and in the emails generated,
as well as all aspects of creating courses, and confirming bookings.
Automatic emails are generated from various steps in the process.
