The Client:
ToysDirect is an internet based toy store that
is the Official New Zealand Online distributor for the Peter Rabbit/Beatrix
Potter range of toys. In addition to the Peter Rabbit range the store
stocks products in five different ranges.
The Requirement:
The client wished to create an online catalogue
where each range has a completely different look, and feel to it.
The client also wanted total control over updating of the site.
The Solution:
The current version of the store went live in early 2002 replacing one
built on the Intershop Template. We built a site entirely in Macromedia Ultradev using ASP.
Content to the products pages is fed from a database which the client
can update via an online form. Tracking of the visitor enables a single
set of Help pages to be used across the site, with backgrounds, buttons
and header graphics all changing depending upon the page that the visitor
came from.
Orders are processed online with email notifications being actioned automatically.
