The Client:
The New Zealand Seafood Industry Council is an
advocacy organisation for the industry, as well as co-ordinating the industry
training function.
The Requirement:
The client wanted an information
site that would promote the industry and Seafood.
The Solution:
We initially project managed the site in 1996, and then took over development
when it was revamped in 1998 & early 2000. The last version that we
built was completed in Macromedia
Ultradev, and had some 200 static pages and a wide range of database
driven pages, for which updating was carried out by online forms.
Macromedia Flash was used in a number of places to illustrate items better.
In late 2000 the client wished to have a complete revamp and create a
completely dynamic site, and despite the fact that we submitted a very
cost effective quote we were unsuccessful.
